It has been a long time since I listened to any Bruce Springsteen I saw him in 78, and 80 in Seattle before anybody there had ever heard about him. I was into his music and the lyrics looking for some direction or meaning in life, I knew all the words but that is all they were just words until I came to the truth Jesus is the King of kings and Lord of Lords and he died for your sins and mine.
Listening to Springsteen was like putting on a band-aid on a large gapping wound the bleeding never really stopped it just prolonged the search until I made Jesus Lord and Savior. People in the Northwest finally discovered him when the Born in the USA album came out. I gave away all my Springsteen albums to people I knew they looked at me like I was crazy and had just given Fort Knox away. Little did they know I had found the treasure I was looking for my whole life.
As I write this we live in uncertain times we are seeing the death kneel of Western Society, the world system. This world has no hope outside of Jesus Christ. His return is near as God is going to judge this world and the world system, today is the day of salvation repent of your sins while there is still time. Remember God is no further than your knees are to the floor. As I was finishing this post just before the song started Springsteen said "remember in the end nobody wins unless everyone wins." Wining or victory doesn't come when you have it all, it comes when you give up your sin that is the only thing you can contribute to your salvation.

Loved the Boss so much back in the 70's and 80's before he went all political.
I wonder how much the record label was able to style their appearance. Literally not long before this the entire band’s aesthetic was completely different. Bruce was scruffy and looked like a hippie and there were bowl cuts and creeper beards. Then suddenly the American midtown Bruce look happened. Not knocking anyone, because the band is in my top five, but record labels did and still do this to artists.
