Gotta say I disagree with your assesment of Sunken Temple and the game with triple explorers shows exactly why.
If they do not draw those explorers(or they don't have room in the deck for them) and your temple goes unanswered you might win. Here, since they did draw the explorers, you just lose. That kind of binary gameplay is not fun, imo. Obviously you are correct that overall the card is balanced by the ubiquity of explorers, but that is over a large sum of games which balances out the winrate. The individual games are just decided by "Do I have Temple" and "Does opponent have Explorer".
