Hey everyone sir turmund here again
Ryze truly surprised me with his unique play pattern. I expected another boring design for Runeterran Champions but this dude seems so cool – and I don't think it's frustrating losing to him as it is losing to the types of star spring because to "Exodia OBLITERATE" the enemy nexus you have to put in the work here and basically have a board full of landmarks while keeping your Ryze alive.
In my point of view, Ryze would be perfect in a mono Ryze deck with Shurima as the second region for soothsayer's landmark spellshield.
As an alternative option, could be running 3x rite of passage – so if your opponent is able to destroy one of your runes you can focus speed resummon it and omae wa mou shindeiru their nexus – what opens a path to other secondary regions and concepts.
Truly a incredible card and I expect him to actually be a good champion, because I'm so excited to test him.
You can't maindeck Flash Freeze with Ryze, but you can maindeck Three Sisters, aka the Freljordian Tellstones. All of the new champions seem super fun to play with– I can't wait for next week. Cheers!
I hope they nerf the Bar deck cause those new cards look insanely fun, I really dont want to see the randomness of the bar ruining everything.
The desing of the new cards though is very very good, you can say that the developers worked hard on those.

Also people seem to be forgetting that rite of passage can be used to revive the runes if they were destroyed
