Shroud of Darkness is must include in my opinion.
You will probably need stuns too because when you have 3 or 4 runes on board you can't block much stuff anymore.

Edit: I like your idea on just 1 copy Ryze 3 copies single champ. It’s a great idea with Entreat Ekko rallies. Particularly with the 2 cost cat that draws 1 makes Parallel Convergence plays more rewarding for your hand.
I’m going to cap out my deck limit so many times trying so many deck concepts around Ryze. I’ve been waiting for him expecting him to deckbuild Burst spells, so I’m super excited.
– Shellfolk Ryze/Norra with all the predicts and tellstones, etc.
– Printer deck with Delve + 2 cost cat that draws 1; Viktor/Ryze
– Master Yi/Ryze discount d
– Ekko/Ryze deck for sure now having access to all predicts
– basically every god damn champion and region I’m going to have to sift over once again to see the potential he unlocks in them.
It’s going to be so much fun. Love how every expansion adds all these fresh new avenues for playstyles.

I really wonder if ryze is gonna see play in any sort of deck that isn’t just ryze. I think a lot of people compare ryze to fiora, and most should remember the fiora pantheon deck from a month or so ago, so some people think that ryze will be paired with another champion for some other wincon. The main difference, of course, is that ryze requires you to use all 6 board spaces for him and his runes, unlike fiora who can literally win by herself with nothing else on the board. Personally, I don’t think the world runes provide enough strength and value to win without ryze to finish the game off, but maybe I’m wrong and maybe vayne scout ryze will be a thing.
